Numerous methods are those that lost weight. Now researchers are increasingly creating methods to achieve this goal, one of them by making an injection or vaccine to reduce body fat storage.

Researchers have discovered obesity vaccine that uses body's defence mechanism to battle fat gain. But this study is still in its early stages so it can only be marketed in a few years.

The vaccine functions by tricking the body's defence mechanism to produce antibodies to a hormone called somatostatin, a hormone created by the brain and the digestive system that makes your metabolic process slows down and bodyweight gain.

This produced an antibody that can speed up the metabolism so the weight a person will decrease. The most important thing is the levels of important hormones are not affected.

"This study shows the potential of treating people with obesity through vaccination," said lead researcher Dr. Keith Haffer of Braasch Biotech companies, the U.S., as quoted from Dailymail, Tuesday (07/10/2012).

Dr Haffer said further study is needed to determine how long-term implications of this vaccine, but vaccination with the treatment of obesity could provide another choice in obese patients in addition to surgery or drug consumption.

In this study the scientists used mice given a single injection of this vaccine and handled to lose 10 percent of their bodyweight after four days.

Moreover these experimental animals given high-fat diet before being given an injection of vaccine, and these mice were known to keep reducing your weight despite eating bad food.
